Breast Augmentation Revision: Before & After Photos
Surgeries performed by award winning Los Angeles plastic surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Hughes
Before | After |
This patient had a left chest wall, which was much smaller than her right chest wall. She also wanted large implants. Dr. Hughes was able to balance these two items to produce a chest wall and breasts, which appear to be the same width on both sides. These differences in anatomy can be very difficult to camouflage, but Dr. Hughes has extensive experience with all types of breast asymmetry. This patient had a transumbilical augmentation with 425 ml saline implants. Once again, the benefit is no noticeable scars.

Although this patient would have looked better with a small breast lift, she was very happy with the improvement in fullness and the apparent reduction in her wide gap in the middle of her breasts. She had a transumbilical augmentation with a high profile saline implant of 450 cc.

This patient had much less than perfect anatomy before her surgery. Many women before surgery do not have good symmetry, or they have poorly shaped breasts. The goal of breast augmentation in these cases is to improve the look of the breasts. Dr. Hughes can take less than perfect anatomy and give the patient round, full, well defined breasts in anyone. The secrets to Dr. Hughes’s results are manifold, but Dr. Hughes can bring you to your fullest potential.
This patient chose a transumbilical approach for her breast enlargement surgery. A submuscular approach was chosen to give a more natural takeoff at the superior aspect of the implant and to provide better camouflage for the implant. She opted for high profile saline implants with 400 ml. Dr. Hughes created a result that is natural and symmetric.

This patient was an extremely muscular patient with very low body fat. She wanted to have fat grafting to her breast defect to reduce rippling. This is an extremely effective technique as you can see. In addition, Dr. Hughes has used dermal matrices in complex breast augmentation revisions. He is an expert in the field of breast augmentation revisions, and he recently published a chapter on complex breast augmentation revisions.

This patient chose a transumbilical approach for breast augmentation (through the belly button). Notice the absence of scars on the breast. A submuscular approach was chosen to give a more natural takeoff at the superior aspect of the implant and to provide better camouflage for the implant. She opted for saline augmentation with 325 ml implants. Dr. Hughes created a result that is natural and symmetric. Notice the improvement in breast cleavage and fullness. These transformations are performed by Dr. Hughes several time a day, five days a week.
Please note that the postoperative result is one day after surgery. Notice absence of bruising and scar with improved breast fullness and volume. Notice the belly button with a previous piercing that has not been disrupted. There is no visible scar. This is characteristic of Dr. Hughes’s transumbilical breast augmentation. Not only can patients go back to work the following day, but there is no evidence of the patient having had surgery. Talk about happy patients.

This patient chose a transumbilical approach for breast augmentation (through the belly button). Notice the absence of scars on the breast. A submuscular approach was chosen to give a more natural takeoff at the superior aspect of the implant and to provide better camouflage for the implant. She opted for saline augmentation with 525 ml implants. Dr. Hughes created a result that is natural and symmetric even with very large implants. Notice once again the improvement in cleavage and fullness of the breasts.
