This is the type of transformation that is emblematic of the surgical procedures and revisions that Dr. Hughes performs on a regular basis.  This patient had 400 cc implants placed in a subcutaneous plane that were obvious and asymmetric.  Dr. Hughes removed these butt implants (which are made of soft, solid silicone) and replaced these implants with gluteal implants that were round, 712 cc implants.  Dr. Hughes dissected a uniform and smooth intramuscular pocket which camouflaged the implants nicely, created better symmetry, created more roundness, and produced much more projection.   These difficult revision surgeries are the mainstay of Dr. Hughes’s surgical armamentarium, and very few, if any, surgeons have such technical skill and knowhow to tackle these complex revisionary issues.
