This tummy tuck procedure removed 8 lbs. of skin and fat and made a dramatic difference. The patient is now scheduled for liposuction in which 5 liters of fat will be removed. Removing 5 liters of fat at the time of tummy tuck probably should not be done due to safety concerns and should be deferred for a later time in larger patients.
