This patient had a lower bodylift and inferior buttock lift, which dramatically reduced the loose skin in the lower back, buttocks and posterior thighs. The scars are well placed, and the improvement is obvious. Patients frequently believe that the scars will be so poor that the surgery will not be worth it. That is simply not the case. The tradeoff can be life-changing and tremendously gratifying for the patient and surgeon alike.
