This patient represents a more difficult case, because she was very thin and yet wanted a more hourglass figure with a larger butt. Dr. Hughes was able to harvest enough fat to place about 800 cc per buttock and hip to get a nice natural and smooth improvement for the patient. The procedure involved liposuction of the abdomen, sides, and lower back with fat transfer to the buttocks and hips (also known as the Brazilian buttlift or BBL).
