Dr. Hughes performed liposuction of the abdomen, sides, waist, flanks, lower back, and bra rolls and transferred fat to the buttocks and hips. The Brazilian buttlift involved a transfer of more than 2000 cc per buttock (over 4000 cc or 4 liters in total). The patient also had a 5 liter liposuction for the procedure. The patient had a great deal of loose skin on the abdomen and a great deal of fat. Dr. Hughes flattened the belly or abdomen and made the rolls of skin seemingly disappear. Of course, liposuction never improves skin but Dr. Hughes liposuctions the areas so evenly and smoothly that he allows the patients the best chance of healing in smooth fashion.
