This is an early postoperative result. This patient had a great deal of skin and fat, which was removed to give her a flat stomach. In addition she had a very loose abdominal wall, which was tightened to give that toned, flat look. Liposuction can be used at the time of tummy tuck to reduce the sides and give a nicer contour. This patient did not elect to have liposuction.
