Tummy Tuck Photos

This patient had a tummy tuck to remove the loose skin and fat. Although she could benefit from side or flank liposuction (liposculpture), she was very happy with the improvement.
This is also an illustration of how some people with more pigment in their skin sometimes scar more poorly than lighter skinned people. This is certainly not universal, and previous scarring in an individual is the best predictor of future scarring. This patient had a thickened, widened belly button scar, which when mature after a year, can be revised to improve upon its thickened nature.
