Although determining how thin a patient may be from a preoperative photo may be difficult, this patient was barely 100 lbs, with very little available fat for liposuction or fat transfer. Dr. Hughes was able to transfer 700 cc per buttock to give a very nice improvement that is not subtle but that is not overdone either. The liposuction and Brazilian buttlift for thinner patients is possible, but this procedure requires immense skill to both harvest enough fat for transfer and leave everything smooth that has been liposuctioned.
