This patient flew a long way to have Dr. Hughes perform a buttock implant surgery in Los Angeles. The patient was exceptionally thin but opted for 600 cc round implants placed in the intramuscular position. This type of buttock augmentation requires immense skill to place an implant that large in a patient that small while having the result look natural and the implant not look superficial and not create a dent laterally. In fact, Dr. Hughes performs about 2 butt implant revisions a week for patients who have such deformities from previous buttock implant surgery performed by other surgeons. The main risks with butt implant surgery include fluid collection and need for removal of butt implants.
