This patient just illustrates the importance of smooth liposuction in these cases. This patient had loose skin to be sure. Dr. Hughes in Los Angeles was able to execute a very uniform liposuction and leave the abdomen smooth even though there was loose skin. This is not easy to achieve and patients should not look only for the improvement in the waist contours but also the smoothness of the result. Dr. Hughes has spent many hours fixing liposuction products of others that were dented and uneven. It is also important to get this right the first time so that revisions are not necessary.
