This African American patient underwent closed rhinoplasty with subtle tip refinement, no bridge alteration, and narrowing of the nostrils (called alar base reduction). The result presented is natural and the after picture is taken only one week following the surgery so that one can see the recovery benefits of having a rhinoplasty with Dr. Hughes in Los Angeles. He will get the best result with minimal downtime. If looking carefully, the stitches along the nostrils are still intact at this early date following surgery.
